Erode Releases

I’m so glad to release this tape with my both friends. Altar of Flies is Mattias Gustaffson, I know him from touring with his other band called The Jam Session where we become friends. Mattias is also the founder of the noise label Hästen och Korset. He makes minimal buzzing and drone, chaotic dark distortion and pulsating bass. He experiments with a wide variety of techniques and styles, some harsh and some reserved. He released so fucking much tapes and CD-R’s. It seems like every week comes a new release.
Dead Seagull is Sisto Rossi, we live in the same city. He is one half of noise improv.-duo Ciao! Bird. He creates subtle improvised drones and spaces while playing his selfbuilt electronics and circuit bent toys/ instruments like a b-movie protagonist. The range of how he’s creating sounds is huge according to his steadily growing amount of instruments and sound-scources. – strictly analogue. He put out also a big amount of releases but mostly every time under another name.
The artwork for this tape was done by Sisto.
