This is Erodes first release which I release without being a friend of someone in the band. I saw them once live, listen a lot their music and I really, really love WHOHM. This was their last album before their split up. Heavy synths grind and squeal upon pure propulsion as lyrics wax solipsistic over the cyclical nature of all modren man’s foists and foibles. Rogue song structures and plenty of surprises around every corner, Rah Bras continue to master the art of not boring themselves by subjugating the rock idiom to their every whim. Both bizarre and strangely accessible, WHOHM achieves the rare genius of genuine creation in a realm fraught with endless reference and carbon copy replication of tired ideas.
Well, I never met this band personally but I’m glad to put out this tape version because this is a really awesome album!
